The ECDVU had conducted a formative evaluation of the program over the period of the delivery, and the World Bank undertook a summative, external evaluation that was completed in February 2005. ECDVU Cohort Generated Research/ReportsAn objective of the ECDVU program is to increase information available regarding the status of ECD in Africa. One way to address this objective has been to make available on-line the work of ECDVU participants. The initial course (CYC 541) required each country team to produce an ECD Country Report identifying the current status of children, families and women's issues in the country-these are reproduced on this website. Achieving ripple effects and cascading benefits as a result of ECDVU participation is a central objective of the project. Examples of these activities, as well as other assignments related to ECD capacity building, are provided in the sites identified below. ECDVU Project Generated Publications |
